LianTao Wang

LianTao Wang is Professor in the Department of Physics, Enrico Fermi Institute, and Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics at the University of Chicago. His theoretical research focuses on particle physics phenomenology beyond the Standard Model.

Professor Wang investigates fundamental puzzles including electroweak symmetry breaking, dark matter identity, and cosmological asymmetries. His work connects theoretical frameworks with experimental searches at facilities like the Large Hadron Collider. Current studies examine Higgs boson properties, axion dark matter detection strategies, and primordial gravitational wave signatures from the early universe.
