Christine Brooks

Christine Brooks is a Professor in the Expressive Arts Therapy Program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), within the School of Professional Psychology and Health. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, as well as a BFA in Acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Prior to academia, Brooks worked in the film industry as a book editor and in an early AI startup focused on replicating expert advice, experiences that continue to influence her coaching practice.

Brooks actively engages in artivism, supporting local performance artists and participating in events like V-Day's The Vagina Monologues.
