Professor Cheng Gong is an Assistant Professor and Deputy Director at the Institute of Environment & Resources Protection for Minority Areas, Minzu University of China. He also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member and Senior Research Fellow at Vermont Law School (U.S.-Asia Partnerships for Environmental Law). His primary role involves teaching the Ecology in Practice for Environmental Mission Scholars course, which emphasizes hands-on interdisciplinary approaches to ecological principles.
Research interests focus on environmental sustainability, resource management in minority areas, and the integration of ecological science with legal frameworks. He contributes to bridging academic theory with practical environmental mission training for students.
