Yanmei Lin

Yanmei Lin is Professor of Law and Deputy Director of the U.S.-Asia Partnerships for Environmental Law at Vermont Law and Graduate School. Her expertise centers on environmental governance frameworks in China and comparative legal systems.

Her research examines environmental public interest litigation, public participation in governance, and wildlife crime legislation. She has led initiatives establishing environmental law clinics and judicial training programs in China. Key focus areas include waste management policy, citizen science activism, and genetic resource governance.
