Charlotte Johns

Miss Charlotte Johns is an Associate Lecturer at the Department of Health and Social Sciences, University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). She is currently a PhD research student, focusing on systemic issues affecting health and wellbeing through frameworks of community psychology, critical community psychology, and liberation psychology.

• Education: MSc in Health Psychology (Distinction, 2022) from UWE; BSc in Psychology (First Class Honors, 2017) from the University of Plymouth

Her research explores the social, political, and economic influences on wellbeing, including critical consciousness approaches and the impacts of neoliberalism. She contributes to teaching while pursuing her doctoral studies.
