About
Kathy Rogers is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health and Social Wellbeing at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol). She joined UWE in 2015 and currently pursues a PhD focusing on informal caregiving in non-malignant respiratory disease at the end of life. Her qualifications include an RN, RN Teacher, MSc in Advanced Practice, and HEA Fellowship.
Research & Teaching: Her research spans end-of-life care, biopsychosocial impacts of cancer, and creative arts in nursing education. She leads modules in Community Specialist Practice, Health and Social Care Research Methods, and End of Life Care. She also coordinates hospice partnerships and organizes annual Dying Matters awareness campaigns to promote public engagement with death and dying.
