Miss Rebecca Reece is a PhD Researcher and Associate Lecturer at the University of the West of England (UWE). She holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Criminology from UWE, an MSc in Neuroimaging: Methods and Applications from Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre, and an MRes in Health and Wellbeing from the University of Bath.
Her research focuses on exploring how individual differences affect mental well-being benefits from urban greenspaces, including the multi-sensory properties of these environments and the use of virtual reality as a research tool. Funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) through the South West Doctoral Training Partnership, she has presented her work at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
At UWE, she contributes to teaching and supervision as an Associate Lecturer, alongside her research activities. Her work integrates interdisciplinary approaches from psychology, neuroimaging, and environmental studies.
