Ambassador Chan Heng Chee is Honorary Professor at SUTD’s Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities and Chairman of ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute. With a PhD in Political Science, her work spans diplomacy, urban governance, and multiculturalism. Awards: Distinguished Service Order, Public Administration Medal (Gold), and honorary doctorates.
Recent articles (2014-2019) analyze Singapore’s governance, ASEAN-US relations, and multicultural policies. Leadership includes UN Ambassador roles and service on Social Science Research Council.
Current research examines ageing societies and urban identity politics.
