Ying Chan Ho is an Assistant Professor at the School of Politics and International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Nottingham Malaysia. Previously, he served as Chairperson of the Centre for International Studies at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.
He holds a PhD in International and Political Studies from the University of New South Wales (Australian Defence Force Academy) and a Master's in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
Dr. Ho's research spans critical areas of political science and international relations, with regional expertise in Southeast Asia. Key interests include:
- Identity politics and nationalism
- Malaysia's foreign policy and domestic politics
- Sino-Malaysian relations
- ASEAN regional dynamics
