Bridget Z. Sheng

Dr. Bridget Z. Sheng is a Professor of Educational Leadership at Western Illinois University (WIU), affiliated with the College of Education & Human Services and the School of Education. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology: Measurement and Statistics from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2007. Since joining WIU, she has instructed graduate programs in MSED, Ed. Specialist, and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership while supporting doctoral dissertation research.

Her research focuses on applying quantitative methods to analyze school leadership and performance, emphasizing factors influencing student success. Dr. Sheng serves as the Educational Leadership program's assessment coordinator and has chaired multiple doctoral committees. She actively collaborates on research, reviews academic manuscripts and grants, and presents at national conferences.

Her publications appear in journals like the Journal of School Leadership and AASA Journal of Scholarship and Practice, reflecting expertise in leadership analytics and educational policy. She contributes to university governance through committee service and grant evaluation roles.
