Brian Ganz is a distinguished pianist and Lecturer at St. Mary's College of Maryland, where he has taught piano since 1986. He also joined the piano faculty of the Peabody Conservatory in 2000. A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory under Leon Fleisher, Ganz has performed globally with orchestras such as the St. Louis Symphony and St. Petersburg Philharmonic.

- Teaching philosophy: Explores music's role in connecting the "Spirit which unites all living things"
