Ian Fountain is a Professor of Piano at the Royal Academy of Music, London since 2001. A celebrated pianist, he won the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Masters Competition at age 19, performing extensively with orchestras such as the London Symphony, Israel Philharmonic, and Czech Philharmonic. His repertoire includes over 60 concertos, including complete Mozart piano concertos.
Education: Chorister at New College, Oxford; Winchester College; studied piano under Sulamita Aronovsky at Royal Northern College of Music.
