Bria Rochelle-Stephens serves as Vice President for Strategic Academic Initiatives, Director of the Presidential Scholars Program, and Instructor of Religion at Huntingdon College. She holds a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Studies-Exercise Science from Huntingdon College. Her work bridges academic leadership, pastoral ministry, and institutional advancement.

Her interests focus on religious education, pastoral ministry practices, and leadership within the United Methodist Church. She has preached at prominent events including Huntingdon’s Baccalaureate service and the United Methodist Church Exploration Conference. Her ministry experiences include internships at First United Methodist Church-Montgomery, FAM Houston NGO, and Broadway United Methodist Church.
Recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for character and service, she has led initiatives in campus ministry and academic strategy. Her roles include advising the Presidential Scholars Program and fostering interdepartmental academic collaboration.
Notably, she was Huntingdon’s first Black Homecoming Queen (2017) and held leadership positions in student organizations like Alpha Omicron Pi and the Huntingdon Leadership Academy.
