Prof. Dr. Beatriz Roldán Cuenya is the Director of the Department of Interface Science at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin, Germany. She also serves as an interim director of the Inorganic Chemistry Department. Her academic journey includes roles as a Full Professor at Ruhr-University Bochum (2013–present) and the University of Central Florida (2004–2013). She holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Duisburg-Essen (2001) and a BS in Physics from the University of Oviedo (1998).
Research Interests: Her work focuses on catalysis, surface science, and electrochemistry, particularly in energy conversion systems.
