Prof. Dr. Azar Aliyev, LL.M., holds the Chair of International Business Law, Comparative Law, and Just Transition Research at the Faculty of Law and Economics, Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. He also serves as Co-Director of the Institute for Structural Change and Sustainability (HALIS) since 2021 and maintains a teaching position at Baku State University. His academic career includes interim roles in Civil Law, Commercial Law, and Public Law at the same university from 2023-2025.
