Fabricio Fortese is a Stockholm Research Fellow at the Institute of European and Comparative Law, Stockholm University, and holds academic appointments in the Department of Law. He serves as Director of Mooting Activities and is affiliated with Christ Church. His roles include membership on the board of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and the Education and Training Committee of Africa in the Moot. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a former board member of the Nordic-Baltic Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club. His academic background includes an LLB from Buenos Aires University, an LLM in International and Comparative Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London, and an LLM and PhD from Stockholm University.
Fortese’s professional engagements span visiting fellowships at Columbia Law and the National University of Singapore, alongside active participation in global arbitration moots and educational initiatives.
