Arno Steinwider

Univ.-Prof. Arno Steinwider is a Professor at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (since 2007) and has taught flute, didactics, and teaching practice at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz since 2004. Their expertise spans contemporary music performance, pedagogy, and classical flute techniques.

Education: Studied concert flute and instrumental pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, earning a concert diploma and teaching qualification (Mag. art.) with distinction. Further studies under Wolfgang Schulz at the Vienna University of Music.

Performance Highlights: Solo performances at prestigious venues like Vienna Konzerthaus, Smetana Hall (Prague), and collaborations with orchestras such as Vienna Klangforum and Graz Scene Instrumental Ensemble. Collaborated with composers Isang Yun, Vinko Globokar, and others.
