Arno Haselsteiner is a Lecturer for Jazz and Pop/Percussion at the Department of Wind & Percussion Instruments at Mozarteum University Salzburg. He began his musical studies at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich and the State University of Music in Trossingen. Haselsteiner was the youngest member of both the German Federal Youth Orchestra and the European Youth Orchestra, later performing as a percussionist with the SDR Radio Symphony Orchestra in Stuttgart.
His artistic collaborations span jazz, pop, Latin, world music, funk, and fusion genres, working with renowned artists including Max Greger, Yehudi Menuhin, Tom Jones, Bobby Shew, Allan Harris, and Roberto Blanco. These collaborations underscore his interdisciplinary expertise in contemporary and global music traditions.
