Anne De Jaeger is a Professor of Comparative History of the Arts at the Brussels Conservatory since 2003. She also teaches art history and the history of the printed image at École Supérieure des Arts LE 75, ENSAV La Cambre, and HE2BE (educational section).
- Graduated in Art History and Archaeology from Université Libre de Bruxelles
Her research focuses on the interdisciplinary connections between art forms, particularly the historical interplay between architecture and music, as well as the evolution of the printed image. She explores the correspondence of the arts from the Middle Ages to contemporary times.
At the Brussels Conservatory, she integrates cultural and historical contexts into musicology education, emphasizing the relationship between visual art, music, and literary traditions.
She has been actively involved in cultural outreach through Arcadia, a non-profit organization, and previously worked as a tour guide in Brussels museums such as the Horta Museum and Museum of Musical Instruments until 2004.
