Anne M. Dijkstra is an Associate Professor in Science Communication at the University of Twente's Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences. She leads the Research Centre for Science Communication & Public Engagement and has coordinated projects like SPACE4ALL (NWO-funded), exploring climate vulnerability in slums via citizen science and remote sensing. Previously, she worked as a project manager and science communication advisor, and volunteers with Science Café Deventer and organizes festivals like Science Café Noir.
Her research focuses on science-society relationships, including public engagement, citizen science, responsible research innovation (RRI), and risk governance.
