Dr Andy Henry is a Lecturer in Drama and Performance at Queen Margaret University's Media Communication and Performing Arts Division. He holds a PhD in Theatre Studies (University of Glasgow, 2018), MA in Theatre Practice (Aberystwyth University), and BA in Drama and Theatre Arts (Queen Margaret University). His research focuses on performance archives, site-specific theatre, and pedagogical innovation in higher education. He collaborates with institutions like Festival Theatre, Traverse Theatre, and Scottish Dance Theatre, and co-leads the Glasgow Green performance project with Victoria Bianchi.
Teaching emphases include theatre history, theory, and practice, with specialist modules on archives and site-specific performance.
