Dr Victoria Bianchi is a Lecturer in Drama & Performance at the MCPA Division, Queen Margaret University. Her academic and artistic work bridges performance practice with feminist and socio-spatial inquiry, particularly in heritage and community contexts.

Victoria’s PhD, titled 'Ayrshire Herstories', explored the interplay between space, gender, and heritage in site-specific performance. Her methodological approaches include practice as research, collaborative action research, and participatory practices. She has created performance work for organizations such as the National Trust for Scotland, Camden People’s Theatre, Òran Mór, and Assembly Edinburgh.
She is a member of the Culture in Society Research Centre at QMU and has previously taught at Royal Holloway, University of London, and the University of the West of Scotland, where she completed her doctoral studies in 2018.
Victoria is also engaged in research on heritage education in Scottish schools and community arts projects with children and young people in areas of high child poverty, aiming to develop creative, community-responsive approaches to improve social outcomes.
Her teaching at QMU spans applied arts, performing arts, and drama in education.
