Dr. André Meinunger serves as Vice Director of the Leibniz-Centre General Linguistics (ZAS) and leads Research Area 3 'Syntax & Lexicon'. He is a Principal Investigator for the DFG project 'Congruence Mismatches in Relative Clauses and Related Structures'. His research focuses on German syntax, clause linkage, and the interplay between semantics, syntax, and phonology. He actively engages in public linguistics discussions on language norms, gendering, and verbal aggression.
