Andrew J. Wilson

Andrew J. Wilson is an Adjunct Professor at National Louis University, teaching courses in Liberal Arts & Sciences (LAS) such as LAS 203 Survey of US History, LAS 118 Introduction to Politics and US Government, LAS 204 Contemporary Chicago, LAS 304 Middle and South American Cultures, and LAS 340 Native American Cultures.

Education:

• BA in History and Politics, Manchester Metropolitan University (1980-1983)
• MSSc in Irish Politics, Queen’s University Belfast (1983-1985)
• PhD in History, Loyola University Chicago (1985-1991)

Dr. Wilson specializes in US history, with a focus on the United States’ role in the Northern Ireland conflict (particularly the Clinton administration, 1994-2000). His expertise spans Irish America, US in the 1960s, modern Irish history, World War II, and contemporary Native American issues.
