Andrew Buglass is the Associate Head of School for Secondary and Further Education and Skills at the University of Sunderland. He holds a PGCE PCET (2014) from the same institution. His career has included roles as a Research Assistant at SUNCETT, contributing to textbooks on reflective teaching, and as an Academic Tutor teaching Creative Writing and Irish Drama. His research focuses on bridging creative writing and initial teacher training, emphasizing their synergistic potential.
Collaborations include work with the Education and Training Foundation on their Research Development Fellowship program. He maintains active involvement in teacher training initiatives and has co-authored publications aimed at enhancing pedagogical practices in further and adult education.
