Andreas Paschon

Andreas Paschon is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of the Department of Education at the University of Salzburg. He holds a Master's (Mag.) and Doctorate (Dr.) in Education. His roles include Chairman of the Curricular Commission for Pedagogy/Educational Science, Coordinator of the Supplementary Study Program in Early Childhood Education, and Project Manager of the Salzburg Observation Concept (SBK). He has led over 90 completed theses and is actively involved in numerous academic committees and initiatives.

Research focuses on early childhood education, school development (MSS), observation in kindergarten (SBK), play pedagogy, and children's rights. Key projects include the Janusz Korczak Project (JKP) and the Modular Approach to Self-Evaluation of School Development (MSS). He contributes to editorial boards for educational publications and chairs the Austrian Janusz Korczak Society.

Education awards include teaching excellence recognition in 2011 and 2015. His professional activities span academic administration, research leadership, and community engagement in education and pedagogy.
