Andreas Praher

Andreas Praher is a researcher at the Department of History, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Salzburg. He completed his PhD in 2022, focusing on the financialization and tourism-driven pressures in regional housing markets outside major cities, with a case study on Salzburg. His work combines economic geography, housing policy, and historical analysis.

His research interests include regional innovation systems, industrial restructuring, resource economics, sustainability, transport, and housing markets.
