Andreas Dür is a Professor of International Politics and Head of the Department of Political Science at the University of Salzburg. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute (2004) and previously served as a research fellow at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (2003–2005) and lecturer at University College Dublin (2005–2009). His research focuses on trade policy, interest groups, and European integration, with over 60 peer-reviewed articles and notable books including works on EU business influence and transatlantic trade relations. He led the European Research Council-funded TRADEPOWER project (2017–2023).
