Manfred Elsig is a Professor of International Relations and Deputy Managing Director at the World Trade Institute (WTI) of the University of Bern, where he also serves as Director of Research. He previously led the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Trade Regulation from 2013-2017.
- Education: Studied Political Science at the Universities of Bern and Bordeaux, earned a PhD (Dr Phil) from the University of Zurich in 2002 with a dissertation on EU trade policy.
