Andrea Quattrini

Andrea Quattrini serves as a Research Zoologist and Curator of Anthozoa at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC, with an Affiliate Faculty appointment at the School of Systems Biology.

Her research centers on the ecology and evolutionary dynamics of coral reef communities, specializing in anthozoan taxonomy and biodiversity conservation. This work integrates field studies of deep-sea corals with phylogenetic analysis to address climate change impacts on marine ecosystems.
