Dr. Torkild Bakken is an Associate Professor at NTNU University Museum's Department of Natural History, specializing in marine invertebrate biodiversity. As senior curator of marine invertebrates, he oversees zoological collections while researching polychaete worms and sea slugs in Norwegian waters.
