Andrea Jimenez Cisneros

Dr. Andrea Jimenez Cisneros is a Senior Lecturer in International Business (Management) at the University of Glasgow. Her research focuses on decolonial approaches to innovation, post-growth economies, and sustainable development, with particular attention to marginalized communities in the Global South. She has conducted extensive fieldwork in Peru, Zambia, and Bangladesh, examining how innovation discourses and practices intersect with postcolonial dynamics and socio-environmental justice.

Her work bridges critical theory with practical interventions, such as designing participatory water governance platforms in Lima-Callao and analyzing grassroots circular economy initiatives.
