Andrea Frank

Andrea Frank is an Associate Professor in the Art Department at the State University of New York at New Paltz, where she has been since 2012 and leads the Photography Program. Previously, she taught at MIT's Program in Art, Culture and Technology from 2003–2012.

Her research interests focus on sustainability through a systems lens, addressing collective responsibility and psychological drivers of human action. Her artistic practice spans photography, video, and mixed media, often involving collaborative think tanks and System Drawing sessions to explore non-paradigmatic creative modes.
