Andre Lino

Dr. Andre Lino is a Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Essex Business School, where he also serves as Departmental Study Abroad Officer. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of São Paulo (2019), with a visiting research period at INLOGOV (University of Birmingham), funded by CAPES. Previously, he was a Lecturer in Accounting at the Federal University of Pará (2019–2021).

His research focuses on Public Sector Audit, Financial Resilience of Public Organizations, and Co-production of Public Services, employing qualitative methodologies and theoretical frameworks from organizational institutionalism. His work appears in journals like Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Financial Accountability & Management, and Public Money and Management. He currently serves as Associate Editor for the Public Administration section of the Brazilian Business Review (BBR) journal.

Qualifications include an MSc in Accounting (University of São Paulo, 2015) and PhD (2019). Professional activities include editorial roles and academic support hours arranged via email (Monday 14:00–16:00; Wednesday 10:00–11:00).
