Dr. Andre Lino is a Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Essex Business School, where he also serves as Departmental Study Abroad Officer. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of São Paulo (2019), with a visiting research period at INLOGOV (University of Birmingham), funded by CAPES. Previously, he was a Lecturer in Accounting at the Federal University of Pará (2019–2021).
His research focuses on Public Sector Audit, Financial Resilience of Public Organizations, and Co-production of Public Services, employing qualitative methodologies and theoretical frameworks from organizational institutionalism. His work appears in journals like Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Financial Accountability & Management, and Public Money and Management. He currently serves as Associate Editor for the Public Administration section of the Brazilian Business Review (BBR) journal.
