Amanda Thalji-Raitano

Amanda Thalji-Raitano is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the School Psychology program at the University of South Florida (USF), College of Education, and a licensed psychologist (PY# 9857). She obtained her doctorate from USF in 2012 with an emphasis in school-based mental health.

Her career spans diverse settings, including public schools (Hillsborough County Schools), residential programs (Job Corps Center), and private outpatient clinics. She specializes in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional program development, comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, and counseling for children, adolescents, and families. She has taught undergraduate courses at USF and served as an adjunct instructor for the School Psychology program.

Her research and practice focus on multi-tiered systems of support, mental health prevention services, and ethics and law in psychology. Notably, she has collaborated with school personnel, families, and community agencies to promote student wellbeing and success.
