Byron A. Miller is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of the Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Program at the University of South Florida (USF), affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Florida State University (2012). His research focuses on interracial relationships, mental health disparities, and adolescent development, with a particular emphasis on how psychological and social factors influence health outcomes. Miller has authored a book, Interracial Romance and Race Relations: Bridging Generations and Society, and has published extensively in journals like Social Science Research, Society and Mental Health, and Journal of Youth and Adolescence.
