Dr. Alexandra Popst is a Scientific Associate and Researcher in Medieval History at the Department of History, University of Munich (LMU Munich). She serves as Program Coordinator for the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (since 2025) and Erasmus Coordinator for the Department of Medieval History (2021–2024).

Methodologically, she combines written source analysis with iconographic and ritual-theoretical frameworks.
Dr. Popst contributes to academic administration and project management, including roles in the GeschichtePLUS initiative and international coordination efforts via her Erasmus responsibilities.
