Alanna Morrison is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. She also serves as Co-Director of the Human Genetics Center and holds the Thomas Stull Matney, PhD Endowed Professorship in Environmental and Genetic Sciences. Her research program focuses on elucidating the genetic basis of complex diseases, particularly cardiovascular disease and its risk factors, using advanced statistical methodologies in high-throughput genomic data analysis.
