Adam Stearn

Adam Stearn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Curry College. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses such as Criminology Goes to the Movies, Introduction to Criminal Justice, and Methods in Social Research.

Dr. Stearn’s research explores the intersection of popular media (e.g., movies, television, comic books) and the criminal justice system, particularly how media representations shape public perceptions of justice. He has also investigated the relationship between social media and adolescent delinquency, alongside advanced statistical applications in criminology.

He previously taught at Northeastern University, Boston University, and George Mason University before joining Curry College. His work includes conference presentations on criminological theory and quantitative methods.
