Stephanie Cappadona

Stephanie Cappadona is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Curry College. She specializes in social justice and human rights, teaching courses such as Sociological Theory, Criminology, and Hate Crimes.

• Ph.D. in Sociology from Northeastern University
• M.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University

Her research focuses on bias-motivated incidents, prosecutorial practices, and the intersection of justice systems with marginalized communities. Her dissertation analyzed bias crime prosecutions in Boston (2007-2008).
