Adam Hughes is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Aquaculture at the Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS), part of the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). He leads the SAMS Centre for Aquaculture and holds an Honorary Research Fellow position at the University of Seychelles. His research focuses on sustainable marine production systems, the blue economy, and climate change mitigation through aquaculture innovation.
