Dr. Adam Goldstein is an Adjunct Professor and Elizabeth and Oscar Goodwin Distinguished Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He serves as Director of Departmental Advancement and directs Tobacco Intervention Programs including the Tobacco Treatment Program and Tobacco Prevention and Evaluation Program. His research focuses on tobacco cessation strategies, cancer survivorship, and substance abuse interventions, with over 200 publications in high-impact media outlets like the New York Times and CNN. Dr. Goldstein has mentored students internationally in leadership development and health policy, conducting programs in Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, Argentina, Chile, Haiti, and Israel.
