Dr. Şule Melek is an Assistant Professor at Bingöl University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences and Surgery. She holds a PhD from Erciyes University's Institute of Health Sciences and a veterinary medicine undergraduate degree from Kırıkkale University. Her academic career focuses on clinical and surgical practices in veterinary medicine.

Her research projects include studies on corneal alkali burns in rabbits and the effects of apilarnil on insulin resistance in diabetic mice. She is a referee for the Journal of Anatolian Environmental and Animal Sciences.
Teaching responsibilities include courses such as Eye Diseases, Clinical Practice, and Ophthalmic Surgery. She has participated in international conferences and training programs related to veterinary medicine and toxicology.
