Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şevket ÖZCAN is an academic specializing in Phenomenology of Religion and Methodology of History of Religions at Ankara Social Sciences University's Faculty of Theology. He holds positions as Assistant Dean and Director of the Jerusalem Research Center. Born in Ankara (1982), he earned his PhD from Ankara University's Institute of Social Sciences (2016). His career includes roles at the Ministry of National Education and Religious Affairs before joining academia in 2016. He has conducted research in Germany, France, Portugal, and Saudi Arabia.
