ŞENAY LEYLA KUZU is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, Gaziantep University Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Her academic work bridges gender studies, migration sociology, and social inequality.

- Gender dynamics in refugee communities
- Urban integration of migrants
- Evolution of masculinity and femininity in displaced populations
- Gender-based violence and shelter systems
- Care economy and domestic labor
- Social policy impacts on vulnerable groups
Key Publications analyze Syrian women's spatial experiences, refugee entrepreneurship, gender regime in family structures, and caregiving feminization. Her work appears in Gaziantep University Journal of Social Sciences, International Review of Migration and Refugee Studies, and Women's Studies in Turkey.
Projects include migration-focused studies in Gaziantep, pandemic gender impacts, and historical gender roles in Aintab. She has served as a researcher in EU-funded and national projects.
Editorial Contributions include co-editing Gaziantep University Journal of Social Sciences. She has taught 43 graduate courses and 88 undergraduate courses, including feminist theory, migration sociology, and gender inequality.
