İsmail YAZICIOĞLU

Assist. Prof. Dr. İsmail YAZICIOĞLU is a constitutional law scholar currently serving as Head of the Department of Constitutional Law at Ankara Social Sciences University, Faculty of Law. He has held academic positions since 2010 and actively contributes to research in constitutional frameworks and human rights.

• Education: LL.B. from Ankara University (2005-2009), LL.M. in Public Law from Yıldırım Beyazıt University (2011-2014), Ph.D. in Public Law from Yıldırım Beyazıt University (2014-2020)

His research focuses on constitutional law, human rights, election law, and government systems, employing comparative and interdisciplinary approaches. Publications analyze judicial review mechanisms, healthcare financing obligations, and semi-parliamentary governance models.

His recent works highlight constitutional court procedures, information rights, presidential accountability, and minority protections in international agreements. He supervises graduate research in areas like Comparative Government Systems and Constitutional Adjudication.
