İlker Temizer

İlker Temizer is a Professor and Chair of Mechanical Engineering at Bilkent University, where he leads the Computational Multiscale Mechanics Laboratory (CMML). His research focuses on computational mechanics, multiscale-multiphysics modeling of heterogeneous materials, and interface behaviors.

Research interests include computational homogenization techniques for materials and interfaces, thermomechanical contact problems, and isogeometric analysis. His work bridges theoretical mechanics with applied engineering solutions.
