İlhan KOYUNCU is an Associate Professor at Adiyaman University's Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences. He has held academic positions including Research Assistant (2011-2018), Doctor Lecturer (2018-2022), and Associate Professor since November 2022. His expertise lies in Educational Measurement and Evaluation, Mathematical Literacy, and Technology Integration in Mathematics Education.

His recent work explores machine learning in education, social acceptance of individuals with special needs, and cross-cultural educational comparisons.
Publications include influential studies on factor analysis applications, neural network models for PISA data, and machine learning classification in LMS systems. He serves as a referee for journals like International Journal of Progressive Education and Eğitimde ve Psikolojide Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Dergisi.
