İbrahim YERLİKAYA is a Professor of Educational Sciences at Adıyaman University's Faculty of Education. He holds a Doctorate in Psychological Counseling and Guidance from Ankara University (2006) and has served as academic staff since 1997. His research focuses on educational psychology, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and school-based interventions. He has held administrative roles including Department Head and Deputy Institute Director.
Research interests include adolescent mental health, bullying prevention, teacher competency development, and hope-based education programs. Notable projects include EU-funded initiatives to increase girls' school enrollment and UNICEF preschool education programs.
Has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences such as the International Congress of Psychological Counseling. Awards include multiple certificates of appreciation from Turkish ministries for academic contributions.
Teaches courses in counseling practices, educational psychology, and school guidance. Supervises student internships and contributes to teacher training programs.
