Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Sibel Bicer is affiliated with Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's Faculty of Education, Department of Educational Sciences (Guidance and Psychological Counseling). Previously, she held positions at Ondokuz Mayıs University's Faculty of Education. She earned her Ph.D. from Gazi University in Psychological Counseling and Guidance. Her research focuses on cognitive flexibility, mental well-being, hopeful thinking, and premarital counseling. She has served as Head of Department and Quality Board member at Alanya University. Over 50 publications span journals like Current Psychology (SSCI) and Anales de Psicología. Her work examines stress coping strategies, pandemic mental health, and adolescent development. She supervises master's theses on teacher candidates' cognitive flexibility and organizational well-being. Active in academic leadership, she organized the 21st International Psychological Counseling Congress and presented at international conferences. Teaching includes cognitive-behavioral therapy and educational research methodologies.

Current projects focus on social-emotional skill development programs with UNICEF collaboration.
